Harry Nilsson loved the Beatles. In 1968, Derek Taylor turned the 4 Beatles onto the first RCA album by Harry Nilsson. The Beatles loved Harry. From the mid-1970s onward, Harry was very good friends with John Lennon and Ringo Starr.

For the last 44+ years, the term "the fifth Beatle" has been used to describe George Martin, Billy Preston, Stu Sutcliffe, Brian Epstein, Neil Aspinall, and a host of others. To have Harry call Bill Millay "The Fiftieth Beatle" was both funny and endearing.

The world misses Harry. So do I.
